Bodrum’s Dreamy Beaches

Bodrum, one of the international major tourism destinations of Turkey, as I mentioned in my previous post, has so many beaches that each of them deserves to be mentioned separately and that this is the reason of this separate post about Bodrum.As I wrote in my previous post, Bodrum is very near to Milas-Bodrum International Airport and that it makes transportation to Bodrum very easy.And if your flight is to Istanbul, you could take subway metro from Airport to the Bus Terminal and there you will easily find buses to Mugla province (or even to Bodrum directly).After this brief information about how to go to Bodrum; Let me start mentioning about the beaches of Bodrum.

Golkoy : It is a beach where green of palm, orange, pine trees and blue of the stunning beauty of the sea comes together.A true wonder of nature.Only 13 km away from Bodrum.

Gundogan : The most distinctive feature of this beach/place is that it still keep its most of natural beauty without no artificial features.Its orange gardens are also very famous. About 18 km away from Bodrum.

Gumusluk : This place very famous for its fish and crystal clear water.Also the richness of its flora is well-known.

Turgutreis : The name literally means, Admiral Turgut, which takes this name from the famous Ottoman Sailor Admiral Turgut.This is the second most crowded place after Bodrum town center itself.It is where you could watch the sunset best.

Bagla : This place has some of the most beautiful beaches of Bodrum Peninsula.And it is suitable for camping.

Adabogazi : This place has a crystal clear water, so that, it is also called Aquarium.There are place where you could see as deep as 30 meters inside the sea.

Yalikavak, Kadikalesi, Akyarlar, Aspat, Bitez, Karaada, Golkoy, Kargi are also amongst the most beautiful spots, beaches in Bodrum.
