Foods from Tokyo – Japanese Cuisine in Pictures

And here is the third and last part of our virtual Tokyo tour — for now, at least, the last. If I go there one day, we will have another round of it, ahaha. Alright, this part is about the food! Of course, good food and good company in a beautiful place — nothing beats that.

Yet again, I do not know much about these food and I am not gonna write much about them; won’t pretend as if I know. Pictures are from my dear friend. I hope, at least, he enjoyed them. Right?

(Yeap! So, here is the thing about this little stove. They actually bring it to you so that you could cook your own food. Oh, yes! And if you want them to tend the food, not yourself, they do that, too. But the thing is, the food is being cooked right before your eyes. Impressive, huh?)

(Looks like a fun soup to me!)

(There they are — real deal Japanese Sushi — Tokyo)

I, actually, like Japanese cuisine. I must say I am not fan of the entire cuisine but some of them are really good. Then again, I am not a huge fan of seafood, so I guess that says a lot about my attitude towards the Japanese cuisine. That is not to say that their whole cuisine consists of seafood, of course not. But a big portion of it does, yes.

(I do like good noodles.)

(Now that one is a bit far out for me. There is raw fish, probably those little yellow thingies are caviar or whatever… Uhmmm, no, I will pass. But it must be mouthwatering for seafood lovers)

And here is an interesting thing. Although I don’t really like seafood much, I love good sushi! Oh man, it is really good when it is done by someone who knows what (s)he is doing. Actually I heard this from several other people, too, that they don’t like seafood overall, but they love sushi.

And that wasabi thing, ahahaha, if I accidentally invented something like that, I would throw it into the fires of Mount Doom so that no one would know of it, ahaha. Yea, it tastes so weird and whatnot, it is too freaking hot, too. But the fact is, I love it now. Not only with sushi, but I use it for some of my other food, too.

(They’ve gotta be some pancake type deal, I don’t know. But fish shaped pancake? Sure, why not! Oh, also, you see, he’s taking the picture through the window, ahahaha, I am terrible)

Fine fine, I will stop rambling. Enjoy the food. Well, at least the pictures of them.
