Hi there, dear followers! I have recently been to Buffalo, New York to get some things done and on the way back, I visited a beautiful beautiful basilica. Our Lady of Victory Basilica, or Father Baker Church, In Buffalo (Lackawanna), New York; one of the most beautiful temples I have a ever seen, I must say, it was very very impressive both by its aura and its physical structure, architecture.

This place is known for its famous Christian priest, whose remains are in a sarcophagus in the basilica, Father Baker (d. 1936), or, Padre of the Poor. People come here also to visit his tomb and the little museum dedicated to him. There is also a big graveyard nearby, where some nuns and priests of Father Baker’s are also buried.

I am not going to attempt to give (detailed) info about this place. Ample amount of information can easily be found by an easy search on internet. My main purpose here is to share photos of this beautiful place with you all. I am sorry, I didn’t have a better camera with me, as this visit was not really planned ahead of time. It was more of a last minute call, spontaneous decision.

As my friend kept mentioning it; the place “has a very good vibration”, and I do agree with him. If you like architecture, art/painting, sculptures; overall, if you are really interested in artworks, this definitely seems to be a place to visit, it is a “must” if you are in the area.
