Philippines, The Paradise Islands of Southeastern Asia: Part 2

In the first part of article, I mostly mentioned  general things about Philippines such as costs, transportation, weather, where to stay.Here in the 2nd part of the article I will mention more specific places with more details shortly.Deep information about the places and cities which will be mentioned in this article will be published in the category of  ”Cities around the world” under specific titles in near future.(Maybe those have already been published as you read these lines, you can search with the specifis names of the cities or places inside the website)

In Manila…

(Manila, Philippines)

Manila is the capital of Philippines, so it is a quite modern city.It’s a metropol city.Many places worth visiting;  bay, malls, historical places, amusement parks etc.

(Bayview Sunset, Manila, Philippines)

Manila Bay is one of the most attractive place in Manila.”Bay Walk” is very famous amongst Filipinos and also tourist.It worths visiting.Stop and drink something at a point where you can see the bay’s nice view.At night, with the eyecatching lights, it’s a different feeling…

Mall of Asia is the biggest mall of Asia.A giant building which will worth visiting.You can find places to eat something and have a rest, for some fun, for shopping etc. int it.It will be joyful.

(La Mesa Eco Park Entrance, Quezon City, Philippines)

ECO Park in Quezon City is one of the must see places in Manila.It’s next to La Mesa Dam.A great park surrounded with giant trees and plants.There are swimming pool, restaurants, picnic places etc. in it which will serve you to have a great time in it.

Glorietta in Makati is another giant mall in Manila -Makati- which worth visiting.The mall and places around are always full of tourists from all over the world.You can find many different kind of restaurants such as Turkish Restaurants, Chinese Restaurants etc. by GreenBelt which is a region around Glorietta.

In Oriental Mindoro…

Puerto Galera, White Beach is with the wonderful nature and beaches of it in Oriental Mindoro.It’s a few hours away from Manila by bus.You will need to take a boat or a ferry after a few hours.Many Islands are arrived not by bus or aeroplane but through sea by boats or ferries.You can get air-con rooms for 15 dollars per night out of season.In season, it will be about 30 dollars per night which is still pretty cheap for a room that is only one minute away from the beach.There are other Islands worth visiting around.You can stay at one of them and take boat to others for a few hours visiting.

In Boracay…

Wonderful place and absolutely worth visiting.It has a world wide fame with its wonderful beaches and nature.You can have a very nice Scuba Diving experince in boracay.Places to stay are mostly and reasonably more expensive than Puerto Galera.Out season times are quiter and cheaper.

In Cebu…

Cebu also has a world wide fame with relaxing nature and great beaches of its.Every year, decades thousands of tourists from all over the world visit Cebu in season and out season.The weather in Cebu is trustworthy; rainfall is evenly distributed throughout the year  and typhoon activities are minor.

Baguio…

Baguio is located some 1,500 meters above sea level.This city is one of the cool places in Philippines.It is treasure worth to find a city which has a cool weather in a country like Philippines.This city is your destination if you are looking for a relaxing place amongst trees.The city is almost fully surrounded with green, It is possible to see satisfying green also in city centre.You can go for hiking, horse back riding, camping in the city.Hotel prices start from 30 dollars per night.You can check El Cielito Inn, it is in a quiet side of the city away from crowds and veichle noises and pretty comfortable. It’s also cheaper in Baguio than many other cities.

In Palawan…

Palawan is an island province of the Philippines.It’s famous with nature wonder islands, lagoons, forests, caves, underground river and the beaches for sure.It’s a must visit place in Philippines.

Volcanoes…

Mayon, Pinatubo, Taal volcanoes are also worth visiting.If you are intrested in mountains and volcanoes, at least one of these is your destination.
