As I said above, you can also go to Palawan by Boat from Manila or Iloilo city.SuperFerry and Negros Navigation companies are to be checked for this.It takes 24 hours from Manila and 36 Hours from Iloilo city.If would like more experience, that’d be a nice one actually and this way will be much cheaper than by air.

Where to stay in Palawan?

You have real wide choices of price and type as it is always this way in Philippines. That’s the good thing actually. From five star hotels to simple accomodations; from beachfront villas to motels .The price range starts from 25-30 dollars and goes up 500-600 dollars per night. For out season times, the prices are quite cheaper than that. And if you go by a tour package you can get a very nice hotel with a really cheap price.

There are also so nice resorts which offers you places to stay above the water.I will now share some photos of those (also see the first photo in the page) rather than trying to explain what kind of things they are.But It’s really a very nice experience if you are able to afford it.And they are not really too expensive as they sound. You could maybe find one which you can afford.I’d try at least to experience it.

This place is located 155 km south of Puerto Princesa City (the capital of Palawan province).3-4 hours by bus to Quezon city and 20-30 minutes by boat.As i mentioned above, this place is  ”The Cradile of Philipines Civilisation”.Anthropologists found the remains of crude man and his tools which date back to 22,000 years which refers very long time ago. That’s a “must see” place the fans of history, anthrolopgy, ancient times etc.Wake up friends; 22,000 years is not a short time for human history.People from all over the world visit this place just to see it or for some researches.
